Jalana is married to the love of her life, Keith, who is her backbone of support. They have three boys and twin girls, ranging in ages from seven to fifteen. Things get pretty hectic around the Franklin household, as Jalana home schools all of the kids there. Keith, Jalana, and Kaeden, the oldest, play in the worship band at their local church, so some kind of musical instrument, or music is always being played in their home.
Jalana has been published in two devotional books: one from Guideposts called “In Times of Need.” The other is available on Amazon, and is called:
Jalana also sings. The whole family recently worked on a CD project of Christmas songs that they put in their Christmas cards. You can listen to one of the songs on this site.
History is a passion for Jalana, and she loves to write inspirational romance in a historical setting. Her heroines are usually feisty, and the hero, well the hero has a way of taming her – sort of. Jalana’s current work in progress is about a girl named Madison who doesn’t really know what she wants out of life. Jonas, the hero, does know what he wants, and it’s someone whose name starts with an “M.” The whole town gets involved, and it becomes an epic romance with a Happily Ever After of sorts. She hopes to get it published someday soon, as it has been requested!!
Jalana and her family make their home in the beautiful state of Tennessee, nestled in a sleepy little town of friendly folks.
